In today’s marketplace I don’t have to tell you about the struggles we all face. If you were down sized, or lost your job you know that depending upon others to steer your financial security simply does not work. The only one that can secure your future, regardless of what those goals might be, is you. All that you need is a vision and the desire to succeed.
Over the past 30 I have been self employed and the last 16 of which has been in the internet business. My goals have not been driven by financial gain in and of itself. My goals have been driven by life style choices that works best for me. This sentiment is universal with those that are self employed. Self employment provides you with choices to manage your future as you see fit. The Internet is one vehicle that provides me with this opportunity, and if you have the desire, it can provide you with life style choices as well.
In the last 16 years I have seen several changes in the manner by which the Internet has evolved. In 2005 my curiosity began to heighten when I saw my first live internet stream. I asked one of my developers if we could do that and he thought so. Now I was stoked. Imagine the possibilities in streaming live events.
The big news of the day on Cape Cod was a murder trial for a famous fashion writer named Christa Worthington. I knew that the press coverage was intense and I made it down to the county court complex to see if it would be possible to get a press pool feed of the event. To my amazement (and with a bit of embellishment to the production crew ) I could and what amazed me even more was that we were able to stream that feed live. I was astounded with the results and proud of myself and my team for what we had achieved. My next move was to call our local CBS affiliate in Boston and they were delighted that I was able to provide them with the trial live off of their website. From that single event CBS hired us to do a multitude of events including live sporting events, political debates and business meetings. What really hit home was the audience we were able to reach. In fact we broadcast high school football games on Thanksgiving that were viewed by our troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Talk about a thrill.
Ok so here’s the bottom line. As I said in the beginning, all that you need is a vision and the desire to succeed. The vision is something that is clearly identifiable in the world of webcasting, we are here to open the doors to you. The opportunities include business meetings, weddings, funerals, radio and TV stations, local government and public access TV, sporting events, and a host of other events in your community and around the world. If you have the desire to create a lifestyle that not only provides you with “choices”, and renewable residual revenue, then I would love to discuss the world of webcasting with you.
